• Words Trail: Sunrise Rotary will be maintaining the Brattleboro Words Trail mural at the train station. Will to invite Lissa Weinmann to our meeting before June 24th. This is a collaborative project with Sunrise Rotary, the Friends of Brooks Memorial Library, and the Brattleboro Words Project.

• International: Haiti Hand Wash Program having internal management confusion with a 5 year, .2 million dollar award. Concerns over leadership and clarity.

Student rotarians: June 3rd last meeting: introduce yourself and sign the form for each student. Upcoming events: Prom, softball/hardball season, Senior Skip Day, ELO Exhibitions, college fair, awards night in 2 weeks, graduation in 3 weeks.

Ben introduce Doren Hamm, from the Museum of Things Tiny and Found, and Shanin Ward, from N.E.Y.T. Hooker Dunham Theater.
Shannon took over the management of the Hooker-Dunham 70 seat theater and NEYT is renting the theater offering comedy, music, plays, films, readings, classes, workshops, rehearsals, game show, author events, acting classes, writing workshops. Open night . Vermont Suitcase Company, theater in residence.
The Museum of Tiny Things is exactly what it says. DorenHamm is from Dummerston, He manages the museum in the Hooker-Dunham gallery.
Hours and access: Open weekends, Saturdays and Sundays 12 to 5.
Private tours during the week run about $35 per person. $10 admission day-of, online booking on the website.
School groups and miniature-maker workshops are coming, including a workshop Dory will run on curating a print press tray. The collection runs to roughly 10,000 items: a movie train, around a dozen dollhouses, the Mouse Metro, twelve window displays from past miniature festivals, plus interactive stations with reading glasses, magnifying glasses, and tactile elements so kids (and adults) can touch.
Visitor numbers have been striking. Around 1,500 people came through the original mini-festival in December and January; about 1,200 came through this past month alone — and those are mostly weekend numbers.
Coming up: a six-week miniature festival this year, featuring a miniature Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum with around 110 local artists each contributing their own work to populate the displays. Spirit miniature museums will be sent around to the public schools (as last year), with each school choosing the theme and the kids contributing the art, with the finished pieces returning for the window displays.
